The long straps are really annoying. They serve no purpose, and they are constantly in the way. Additionally, they dont age great when washed. These appear to be a nice pair of lounge pants though I didnt notice the long strings on the side before ordering. Not really sure what the purpose of them are. No doubt my husband will cut them off.
The material will draw static, so if you have pets you may want to keep that in mind when ordering.
