I bought two of these totes to replace a leather bag of similar size. The first thing to go on a leather bag is the strap or handle where the outer layer starts to break up and flake off. It is then that the bag becomes useless and cant even go to a charity shop. This wont happen with strong canvas handles like these totes and when they eventually do, the reasonable price means you can just purchase another. These totes dont have that annoying centre compartment that is of little use and takes up unnecessary space. I havent checked for washing instructions but Ive washed similar items by hand and theyre as good as new. Another satisfied international customer.
