Im 6 feet tall, 170 pounds, and have a 37-inch waist. I purchased the XXXL and they fit perfectly on my waist. Well, I guess below the waist if were talking about your actual waist up closer to your belly button. The pants length I buy is a 32. These pants touch the floor when theyre open, but all you have to do is tighten the drawstring around the ankles of the pants and problem solved. Theyre loose fitting all the way down the legs, so these pants give you a lot of room and comfort. The insides of the pants are made of fleece material, so they also keep you warm during these colder months. These pants do look a little wide and flowing around your legs while wearing them, but I think that looks cool. I bought all six colors, and this review goes for all of them.
