This is my second pair of the same sandals for my sister. We are both very happy with the craftsmanship of the sandals and also for the many shoes I’ve bought since. I LOVE THESE SANDALS! But don’t believe the claim that you should order a size up - if anything, they run a bit large. They’re very comfortable for walking in a city. However, I don’t think that they would do well on soft dusty dirt roads, or in the rain or mud. I think they would be pretty spectacular for walking in museums, etc., although I have not yet tried wearing them in a very large museum where one must walk through miles of marble gallery flooring, but I do think they would do quite well there - the bit of bling will dress up any sort of otherwise plain outfit.
