I normally wear a size M shirt; the M version of this shirt which I also own is slightly snug but not tight. The L version of this is slightly loose but not overly so. If you wear a 40-42 sports jacket or a M shirt, either M or L will work. The gray color is more like a cold gray blue-gray and the blue colors are very Summery. Fabric is lightweight and perfect for warm Summer days. Overall, these shirts look great and feel terrific.
