It is a little hit and miss on size. I have ordered 2 of these linen jackets. One in Black and the other in Beige, both XL. The black one is definitely smaller than the beige one. The jacket was perfect for quality and for length of body and sleeves, but it was too narrow. It fitted my wife perfectly and looked good, so she has kept it.
