what I like about the xl is that they are about the same fit as the large but have much bigger front pockets which is a huge deal for me. these pants are fairly comfortable, I like them. The pockets are deep which is a plus for me. I got a couple of pairs in different colors in large which had smaller pockets this ones xl i dont know if that matters but it does if youre carrying around cash and cards.
